A Family of Flavors

Dave Bailey Our family of Baileys’ Restaurants, like many families, is diverse in taste, style, and personality. From the quirky and bright decor of Rooster to the subdued, yet striking, mood of Bridge Tap House… from the luxurious desserts at Baileys’ Chocolate Bar to the comfort food at Baileys’ Range… our goal is always to provide you with a uniquely memorable experience.

We started Baileys’ Restaurants in 2004 with the opening of our first restaurant, Baileys’ Chocolate Bar, in beautiful and historic Lafayette Square. Our family and friends cleaned up the space, painted the walls, and made the artwork.  Everything was done by hand and made from scratch, which is a continuing tradition. Since then, we have added RoosterBridge Tap HouseBaileys’ RangeThe Fifth Wheel CateringSmall Batch, Rooster South Grand & Shift Test Kitchen & Take Out. In 2017, we opened Hugo’s Pizzeria in Midtown, serving Roman-style pies made with our own unique crust & pizza sauce. Baileys’ Restaurants is a St. Louis-centric company, employing more than 300 people serving more than 500,000 customers each year. Not only are all of our restaurants in St. Louis, nearly all of our staff live and work here, furthering our dedication to this great city.

What sets us apart? Our restaurants share a unique central kitchen and our own bakery, which allows us to make nearly everything from scratch. Our chefs butcher and smoke whole hogs, bake all of our own breads and pastries, and make every sauce and dressing. We do everything we can to bring you affordable farm-to-table-fare. Additionally, we serve only local, responsibly raised, antibiotic & hormone-free meats, including Missouri grass-fed beef. We truly believe in better foods for the benefit of the environment, the Midwest, and most importantly, you.

In 2016, we unveiled our first dedicated event space, Willow, adjoining Bridge Tap House & Wine Bar at 10th and Locust, and an additional event space, Slate, just down the block at 11th and Locust. Designed to adjust from a party as small as 100 to as many as 400, Willow features a private room for the bride or other guests of honor on the mezzanine, allowing for a grand entrance down the central stair into the main room. Slate can accommodate parties of 50 to 200. This space has a mid-centry modern aesthetic and we envision it as a “blank slate” that is a flexible canvas for our guests’ unique events. What’s next? Look forward to Cajun Creole inspired fare as we complete renovations on our newest sister restaurant, L’Acadiane in Lafayette Square, located on the lower level of the original Chocolate Bar space.
